Black Mirror is a British TV show acquired by Netflix for this, their third, season. It’s an anthology what-if series like The Twilight Zone, where every episode is a new story, except it’s focused on post-modern sci-fi. Post-modern is the type of science fiction that seems only a few years or decades in the future, really close to our present…[Read more]

I never noticed the Post New Thread button at the top. Seems out of place next to forum links that take you out of your current forum.
Take your time to rest if you need it; I only posted this now because I saw a topic about you adding extra features (like the top posters thing), while there were still annoyances (like the bugged bullet-list…[Read more]

The GTX 1060 would be my personal choice, though I’m going a step higher to the 1070 because I’ll be needing forward compatibility with future VR devices.
But if all you need is to parity with the XBO and PS4, then the 1050 Ti should be able to top them easily. Civilization 6 isn’t particularly demanding either, according to the spec…[Read more]

Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima (tentative position) was interviewed on Bloomberg. One thing caught my eye the most: He said, “it may be appropriate to call them accessories. Or it might be better to call them add-on hardware. It’s probably more correct to call them accessories. You can assume that there will be a wider array.” Bloomberg’s i…[Read more]

I agree with you, Rex.
Personally, I wished Nintendo would have made a $200 no-frills console. At that price, they could sell the console with just a few good first party games. Zelda, Mario, Smash, F-Zero, Metroid, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Virtual Console, $200, done. No begging third-parties to join in; let them join later once the thing sells…[Read more]

I can’t recall which game was the last old game I’ve played. I played 75 minutes of BioShock 2 Remastered according to Steam, so probably about an hour of it. I can’t say anything feels dated about it; although if I were playing the original BioShock I would probably complain that each mouse button isn’t tied to its own attack.
That said, game…[Read more]

If you don’t want to change the power supply, the GTX 1050 Ti is the way to go.
You picked the perfect time to upgrade. The 1050 Ti is right around the corner (leaks suggest it’s launching today) and it’ll be the first 14nm graphics card from Nvidia. My nephew decided to upgrade in June right before AMD and Nvidia switched to their faster,…[Read more]

I recommend the Nvidia GTX 1050Ti ($140) or the Radeon RX 480 ($250). The GTX will be able to play new PC games at medium to high settings at 60fps. The RX will be able to play new games on high settings at solid 60fps, plus it should be able to handle first generation VR games should you ever buy into that.
The GTX 1050 Ti is also really power…[Read more]

I want to point out the little nubbin right there and on the other side. During multiple shots, people have their hands positioned to press that button when separating the Joy-Cons from the tablet.
Another important thing to point out, which I missed in my article, was this following shot:
In the background, you’ll see a sign that reads,…[Read more]

Here’s a few things I think need to be addressed, sn0w.
Create New Topic should be at the top (collapsible/expandable) or at least there should be a link at the top that scrolls you down to the Create New Topic form.
Clicking on the Notifications Icon when you have a notification should take you to the notifications tab instead of the…[Read more] -

I just realized the Switch might not have any user-accessible internal storage at all. The portable unit certainly won’t have a HDD, and a SSD might be too expensive currently. If the games themselves are 30GB each, what would be the point of 128GB of internal storage? You’d be forced to constantly swap the games you keep within the internal s…[Read more]
