Fuck you they said, the game will now release on December 6 in the US, December 7 in Europe, and December 9 in the UK and Ireland.

Lol not gonna be a pilot, so you’re safe…at least where I’m involved. I’m going with another job that I probably shouldn’t go mentioning on a public forum, now that I about it. All I need is to wait to ship to basic, as I’ve said, which hopefully won’t take too long. I’ll at least get some time to play Rise of Iron as well as save up to get a…[Read more]

I survived the processing, and am now officially a US Airman. Just gotta wait to get a job and a shipping date for basic training. Until then, expect more of the same for a while.

Hey,
Yeah I just meant the sheer amount of clickbait articles which are 3 lines on Gamespot, or having 3 tiny articles that cover roughly the same topic. But yeah I think a “Recent news” or something would be good just at the top of the page. Use it to track big announcements etc.
And it could have been beforehand although I don’t fully remember…[Read more]

I believe I have the answer to that question. Apparently Sony shipped all PS4’s with the hardware for HDMI 2.0a, but only had it spec’d for 1.4. The firmware update will basically revise the specs for their hdmi ports to their maximum capability of 2.0a. I think I heard that Sony knew of the requirements for HDMI 2.0, which are hardware based, but…[Read more]

Glad you like what we’re trying to do here. I’m always looking for feedback from you guys if you see something we can do to improve the site for gamers. One thing I’m hoping to have an idea for is how to handle those ‘fluff’ pieces. There are a lot of little ‘bits’ of news that I agree should be shared, but don’t really deserve a whole article.…[Read more]

Hi there!
I imagine Nintendo is a bit of a tricky one to cover right now, it all seems to be rumours and leaks thus far! And yeah, gaming is a hobby and at the end of the day everyone likes different games etc, so I think having multiple sources is important. When I purchase a game I always check out reviews from different places as well as ask…[Read more]

Hey there!
To answer your question, I did actually have an issue with signing up. I tried to sign up with a different email address but never received a confirmation email even after resending it multiple times. It wouldn’t show up in spam/junk etc either. In the end I used a different email service entirely and had no issues at all.
And yeah,…[Read more]

I slept on it, and I’ve decided that I’m very likely skipping the PS4 Pro unless the next upgrade takes too long to arrive and/or if there’s a significant price drop.
Windows 10 is getting HDR support this year, and it’s very likely I’m building a VR living room. This means a PC for my living room that will be powerful enough to play 4K, so a PS4…[Read more]

Welcome, Tom.
So far I’m mostly handling Nintendo stuff, not because it’s my “territory” or anything, but just because I have a soft spot for them. Though it isn’t helping that Nintendo is being absolutely tight lipped with highly anticipated news. Doesn’t mean I don’t cover stuff outside of Nintendo, however. So, yeah I think covering what you…[Read more]

Hey Tom, welcome to the site!
I prefer to let the users decide what they want to cover and how often they contribute. My mantra is I want people to tell me why they love gaming, not why they hate gaming. So allowing you to cover whatever your heart desires won’t put you in a box nor restrict your passion. If you want to write about LoL one day…[Read more]

Hey all!
My name is Tom and I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember. I’m from the UK and have studied Computer Games Design at quite a high level so my background is entirely related to games! I found your site through Gamespot where I have lurked for a long time and decided to sign up here as I like what you have going on.

I think the announcement that all PS4’s would get HDR kind of negated any need for the PS4 Pro to me. I don’t think the Pro is enough of an upgrade to justify buying the system when I don’t even have a 4k TV yet. I think all Sony has done is put the focus on 4k gaming, and console gamers will buy the TV this year and wait to see how the two 4k…[Read more]

Its essentially a straightforward upgrade, which is a good thing. Plus all PS4 consoles are getting an HDR update, so that’s a great thing. All the PS4 models compliment each other, and that’s a good thing, which is something Microsoft needs to work on, since they just outmoded the original Xbox One already with the Slim being a bit more powerful.

Although I can’t recall specifics, there were some shots of some games running on the Pro in 1080p compared to how they ran on the standard PS4; and they got additional upgrades like more LOD (level of detail) and additional vegetation. But they didn’t compare that same shot to the game running on the Pro in 4K…
…so now I’m wondering: If you…[Read more]
