So as of this moment I have caught up the database for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One retail games(sold in stores only, digital would require someone else assisting). And here is version 2.0 already. Designer and I came to a compromise and this is the result. Still have to fix this for responsive screens(i.e. anything 900p or smaller will not display right, including phones and tablets).

It was just fuel on the fire, regardless of intent. It was a bad week for Sony and every thing they could do wrong they seemed to nail on the head. Oh, that was about 4K/HDR, not simply HDR. In essence, they’re upgrades of past games for the PS4 Pro, not for patches for better lighting on the Phat & Slim.

On that, I think we need to wait before we jump the gun. It was a Japanese interview right around the time of the latest announcements, and we all know how unreliable those things are.

A Sony rep said that 3rd party publishers could charge a fee for an HDR patch, which opens the pandora’s box to ‘charge a fee for a patch’.
