That said, I’m kind of pumped about this. Moreso about the games, though. The Mario and Splatoon sequel tease have me pumped.

It’s all a bunch of teasers, which means there’s a bigger announcement around the corner. For RDR2, we’ll be hearing new stuff about the game throughout 2017 (maybe it’ll have a big showing at next year’s E3). Same likely goes for the Nintendo Switch.

Guess not, RDR2 was a bit underwhelming, too short. Switch in some ways too, didn’t reveal the details I was hoping for.

So it looks like the NX is actually called Nintendo Switch. It seems to be some sort of home console/handheld hybrid. It has two controllers on each side that can either function as one unit or be separated to form separate controllers. Although there does seem to be a more traditional controller in the mix as well.

Damnit, I came in to work today expecting it to be at like 11 or 12.

I definitely like what I see, guarantee I get one on day 1 with the new Zelda.

Yay, elheber is back! Missed ya buddy.

I like that idea, Elheber. I’m usually pretty good at guessing Gamespot and Game Informer. They’re kinda predictable (except for GS on 2013. But that’s because they rated The Last of Us lower than everyone else did).

I don’t have Rocket League, to be honest. Didn’t look appealing to me. And yes, the PS4 is now HDR compatible on select TVs. Only games with multiplayer that I have are Destiny, Diablo 3, Uncharted 4, Grand Theft Auto Online, The Last of Us, Minecraft, and Killzone: Shadow Fall

I’d love to start a no-stakes betting pool on what games we think we’ll win in each category from a selected publication. It’s a sidelong way of letting us tell each other what our personal picks would be.

I’ll reach out to a few folks, and see if this gets some more members – I’m not well connected in the gaming world, though. I live a fairly hermit-like gaming existence, mainly built around escaping the stress of my job :-P

If I can find my 3DS, I will be playing the Pokemon Moon demo. And holy shit I haven’t finished Mankind Divided yet.
