I've been considering dropping PSN+ for a while now. The last time I played online with my PS4 was when I got into Rocket League. I've also used it to watch Powers plus I've been adding the free […]

I’m 7 hours into Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but I haven’t even beaten the 2nd main story quest yet. I’m just running around, discovering sidequests, breaking into places I don’t belong, finding more sidequests, playing detective with names and passcodes I find, and finally beating sidequests (but not before finding more sidequests).
For the most…[Read more]

I remember this topic fondly. Something I recently discovered in the time since is that something I look for in games nowadays is for them to be concentrated. It's a time thing… I don't want to grind, […]

Oh man, I still look forward to playing Dark Souls 3. I had totally forgotten about that one! I also haven’t put my money down on Doom.
For me, so far I’ve loved Overwatch, Superhot, Uncharted 4 and Darkest Dungeon (although I technically started the game in Early Access in 2015).

I feel like this is one of those times when if you just wait a little, the next article will have the information we don’t yet.

Are you considering buying the slim sn0w? Like, selling the old and buying the new? Or will you keep the phat and wait for maybe the Neo?
I might skip even the Neo. I mean, soon we'll know if getting a PSVR […]

Heads up. The video has been removed. Images could be good as a replacement.

DX: Mankind Divided
The Last Guardian
Pokemon Moon (or Sun, but leaning on Moon)
SP: The Fractured But Whole
Watch_Dogs 2As for a community recommend list, I imagine it should be a single list continuously updating list. When a game just releases, it starts at the top of the list (#1) with zero points. Each new game bumps every other…[Read more]

According to IGN, the creator of Allison Road, Christian Kesler, sent them a short statement in which he says he is restarting development on the game. This time self funded and published by his own new company Far From Home.

I understand most of your pics, Rob, except for ReCore. Not after we saw the gameplay.
The teaser trailer was great and so is the pedigree (if a little marred by Inafune’s recent antics), but the gameplay looks like Baby’s First Devkit. It neither had the accuracy of a first person shooter nor the fluid platforming of a third person game.

That makes sense. Features that break the game are generally not good design, I would venture to say, despite how controversial that may sound.

If the only problem is the balance, doesn’t that get fixed after the Beta? I mean, it’s one of the things a beta is built for.

Oh, no, I don’t know if I could pick a top favorite franchise.
Gun to my head: The Legend of Zelda franchise. It’s just been with me right from the start, and I’ve been with it from the start as well.
The runner ups include maybe Half-Life, Smash Bros, Metroid, Call of Duty (despite being burned out now, it was a large part of my gaming life),…[Read more]

There’s only like 2 to 4 games I want leading up to 2017. All the other games aren’t my jam.
I don’t own an Xbox, so there goes like half of the release calendar already. Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Mafia 3, XCOM 2, Final Fantasy XV, Civ 6 and Dishonored 2 are all sequels in franchises I never got into. There goes the other half, pretty much. I…[Read more]

Have you ever been in public and one of your friends briefly mentions the title of a movie/show/book, and then some stranger interjects on your conversation to praise it? This happened to me three times with Stranger Things on Netflix. Once while at the movie theater, the guy sitting alone in front of us turned around to say, “yeah, it’s that…[Read more]
