Its using the reviews template oddly, that might be the problem.

Ahh, ok, I’ll look into that. Working on spam protection now and looking bbpress theme ideas, we’re going to create our own theme rather than download one. Things might look a bit ugly for a little bit while we play around with ideas.
I might get a few emblems out of my designer tomorrow, hopefully we can get a few more people signed up in the…[Read more]

[quote quote=6608]Actually I started some work on the forums yesterday, trying to get the designer to come up with a look for this area that fits the theme of the main site. I’ve got a blog post for the Summer Updates in the Blog area that shows some of the updates I hope to work on in the near future. If I can get the designer off his ass, u…[Read more]

Cool beans, all.
We’ve got a good little community here and you’re all going to fondly look back on it like a dad reminiscing about the days when his daughter was a good innocent little baby girl. “Remember when it was just seven of us,” you’ll ask, and all the new guys will respond with, “look gramps, this thread is about Mighty No. 9 VII and…[Read more]

I’m basically posting this here so I won’t forget to write about this one. If you expand out the imgur post you will be treated to a story of a group of young developers fresh from college making their own game. Even though the game was a success with the few critics who reviewed the game, it was a complete flop with barely any sales at all. It…[Read more]

I guess I’ll explain it here. Keep in mind, that saying this is my favorite game of all time doesn’t mean I think it’s the greatest game of all time. Those are two different things. And in explaining why this game is my favorite I’ll need to toss you into my mindset.
Resident Evil 4
I love me RE4 so dearly, I do, I do, I do.
So there’s this ph…[Read more]

That’s pretty cool! Any chance on upgrading the forums or are we waiting on new members? I’m gonna start contributing but at the moment can’t think of anything.

Yeah, I’m proud for all of us. It’s taken longer for this site to find solid ground to stand on that I had expected, my older sites all found success in the first month or two, but the internet shifted since then. Breaking news doesn’t captivate the audience, quality content does. My original site predicted the MS buyout of Rare before anyone…[Read more]

Crash Bandicoot hasn’t aged the best, I’ll admit that off the bat (thought the Spyro games were much better designed overall as platformers). But still, for 32-bit platformers, they were pretty fun and unique. I replayed them last week, and I only found the original game to be a bit on the clunky side. The other two were a lot of fun, at least for…[Read more]

Gotta admit, I felt a bit of pride when I read that two of my own reviews were among the most viewed pages. I’ve never had so many people read my stuff before. It’s…not something I’m used to. Great job on the site so far, man. Hopefully it can grow into something even more awesome than it already is.

If Destiny doesn’t count, I don’t know what game I’m supposed to mention then. Lots of people love strategy games like Civilization and racing sims like Forza or Gran Turismo, and those games I don’t like myself, but I know they’re great games. I don’t actively hate them, they’re just not for me so I don’t personally want to play them. This limits…[Read more]
