The teaser trailer was great and so is the pedigree (if a little marred by Inafune’s recent antics), but the gameplay looks like Baby’s First Devkit. It neither had the accuracy of a first person shooter nor the fluid platforming of a third person game.

It’s more of a feature that by its existence throws off the balance. I don’t see how having boosted weapons won’t get abused and won’t lead to frustrating one sided matches where one user gets their boosted weapons first and has boosted weapons all match long. I feel like I’m trending the same direction, though I’ll probably still be buying a bunch. Right now, I’m only really considering Mafia 3, Civ 6, Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, ReCore, Gears 4, Forza Horizon 3 and The Last Guardian. Still a lot, but I think I’ve crossed BF1, CoD, Titanfall and South Park off my list in the past 2-3 months.

If the only problem is the balance, doesn’t that get fixed after the Beta? I mean, it’s one of the things a beta is built for.
