Steam has launched a VR sale with dozens of titles on sale.
A plethora of Virtual Reality games has been marked with discounts today as Steam celebrates the tech; titles include PAYDAY 2, Pavlov VR, Job Simulator, Arizona Sunshine and Space Pirate Trainer. Games have discounts between the margins of 20% all the way up to 60%. It’s unsure why Steam have chosen to do this but the ‘Spring’ title gives us an idea.
The HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and WMD have gained increasing popularity over the past year as not only do they see a smooth price drop but also a selection of behemoths such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim adapt to the headsets and although they are still a pricey piece of kit they are still impressing owners with their next-gen capabilities. Due to the deal Valve and HTC have the Vive has access to SteamVR Home, a virtual area where you can explore landscapes all the while building or hunt for items; think Garry’s Mod but in VR.
