With the heart pumping event that was the 2018 Six Invitational, we move into Season 7 of  Pro League. This season will be a tad bit shorter than the previous season and will end in May. It’ll climax with eight teams slaughtering the fuck out of one another in a final. Season 8 will begin in June 2018; then we’ll see a schedule change to two six month long seasons each year. For now on, teams will have to compete in a full league format and play two best-of-one matches against every challenger. The best part is that the winning team of each season will receive $275,000 of sweet, cold hard cash.

Additionally, a second major tournament will come to life as the Six Major Paris Competition this August, and the six Invitational will still be held in Montreal in February. Things look pretty damn exciting for the pro gaming community, and I can’t wait for some more action.
