It is now time to talk about a game that has gotten very little buzz, but has gotten a new story trailer. Immortal Unchained is the name and shooting is the game. A third person shooter in a destroyed sci-fi world, to be more specific. It has been designed to be punishing, so if you enjoy hardcore gaming than this might be for you. And your character is customizable so you can use whatever will fit your individual play style best.

Your journey begins as you are being awoken from what was supposed to be an eternal slumber. But I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of an eternal sleep that actually lasted forever. Clearly, this one is no exception. Either way, a human killing machine has been woken up to save the world. Or to be more accurate to the game, nine worlds. Some force is sweeping through and decimating everything unfortunate enough to lay in its path.  And in its wake lie a whole mess of alien type creatures. All of which are more skilled than I am when it comes to murder and firearms.

Speaking of the guns, there are a lot to choose from. I’m not kidding. If anything I’m underplaying it.  There are over 100 different guns and special weapons that can be used over the course of the game. Some may be more suited to your character than others, though. You create your own character and choose a “Discipline” so it may be possible that the character will have better accuracy with one type of weapon over another.

Immortal: Unchained is going to be hard, punishing, and available in stores September 7th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
