EA kicked off E3 earlier today with their EA Play conference, showcasing all the latest projects from Electronic Arts including this years iteration everyone’s go to soccer game: FIFA.
This years FIFA features a new mode however that is looking to bring back elements of FIFA Street and include them in an all new game mode called Volta. Matches will be played in 3v3,4v4 and 5v5 squads and will feature a game of soccer with more relaxed rules, complete with its own story mode.
There’s also a whole host of locations to play in; from the rooftops of Tokyo to the hollow center of a high rise in London.
Volta will be available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One editions while the Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360 and PS3 will be stuck with the legacy edition, which does not include the mode.
Pricing for the game has been revealed too, retailing at $59.99 for the standard edition which includes 3 rare gold card packs for the ever so popular FIFA Ultimate Team mode, a loan icon player pick and special FUT kits.
The pricier $79.99 champions edition includes previous rewards (with 12 gold card packs instead of 3) and a chance to play the game three days early on September 24th.
Finally, the ultimate edition (which is only available to pre-order until August 5th) will cost you a staggering $99.99 and will grant you untradeable FUT 20 ones to watch player item, three days early access and 24 rare gold card packs, as well as the previous two rewards from the less pricier options
FIFA 20 is out September 27th.
