Microsoft has announced their free titles coming to Games with Gold during the month of February 2016.

One of the nice things about Games with Gold is that it gives Xbox gamers a chance to play – totally for free – not only the biggest titles, but also the awesome indie stuff that they might have missed. In February, Xbox Live Gold members get a mix of both. On Xbox One gamers will be able to play the excellent action-RPG/deck builder Hand of Fate and the slick, stealth-action titleStyx: Master of Shadows. On Xbox 360, gamers get the brawling action of Sacred Citadel, and the classic third-person shooter Gears of War 2. All four titles are playable on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility.

While not as strong as the February 2016 Playstation Plus offerings, Games with Gold has some decent games being added for free this coming month as well. Sacred Citadel starts off the month for Xbox 360 gamers, followed by the classic Gears of War 2 in the later half of the month. Xbox One gamers will be able to get their hands on an interesting looking Action RPG/Card based deck building hybrid game called Hand of Fate throughout the month of February, while the solid stealth title Styx: Master of Shadows replaced Zheroes on February 16th. Some of you may remember Styx as a free Playstation Plus title from July 2015.

These are the February 2016 games, available for a limited time as part of the ongoing Games with Gold program.
