In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, Sony has delayed Days Gone into 2019. A change to the release window from 2018 to 2019 was first spotted on the official PlayStation website and has been confirmed as an intended change on Sony’s part by US Gamer. No explanation for the delay or other details were provided at this time.

All things considered, this is probably the best move for this game. With Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out on October 26th even Call of Duty is seemingly unwilling to go head to head with it. A delay until early 2019 seems like a much better plan than being overshadowed by the Rockstar juggernaut.
