Prepare to empty your wallet for these deals!

It’s time for that age-long tradition of filling your bellies on Thanksgiving and immediately emptying your wallets as soon as the last drop of gravy is gone. Every year, retailers offer big discounts on a vast array of products to get you to rush to their store (or their website). This year is no exception, and while Black Friday isn’t quite here yet a good majority of the major retailers have been teasing customers with what to expect when the gates open on the 28th of November.

Of course, it can be hard to track these deals, which is why We’ve compiled a spreadsheet to help you find the best deals on video games this Black Friday. In this article, we’ll highlight some of the best deals we’ve found so far. Didn’t find a game you’re interested in? Don’t worry, we’ll be updating the spreadsheet as soon as more deals are revealed.

Target was the first major retailer in the United States to reveal its Black Friday ad this year. While they are not the best deals on some of the games, their prices fall pretty much in line with Best Buy and Walmart most of the time. Target has quite a few good deals on games for your Nintendo Switch, while also having the best deal on games like Control, and the hidden gem World War Z.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

  • Release Date: June 20th, 2019 Genre: Arcade Racing Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Crash Team Racing has been reimagined for the current-gen and it looks great. Target is offering the title for just $15 on Switch, nearly $10 less than the other retailers. While the ad does not show the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, it is likely those versions will be the same price.

  • Release Date: August 27th, 2019 Genre: Action Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Remedy’s action adventure is going cheap this Black Friday, retailing on Target for just $25. That’s $5 cheaper than other sites, meaning now is the right time to channel your inner levitating skills and move objects like a jedi and assume command of the Federal Bureau of Control. The game is on offer for Xbox One and PS4.

Mario Tennis Aces

  • Release Date: June 22th, 2018 Genre: Sports Platforms: Nintendo Switch

Best Buy

Overall, Best Buy has the most bang for your buck with a lot of games either cheapest, or within $1 of the cheapest price available. Out of all the retailers on this list, the best deals on some of the biggest games of 2019 are at Best Buy. If you’ve got your eye on a lot of games, this is probably where you’ll save the most money.

Best Buy is very generously offering copies for just $24.99, meaning now you have the perfect excuse to don a thrift store cowboy hat and head down to your local store.

Forza Horizon 4

  • Release Date: September 28th, 2018 Genre: Arcade Racing Platforms: Xbox One

Xbox One’s Forza Horizon 4 has been a major success for the franchise, and Best Buy is offering the title for a reasonable $19.99 this Black Friday, considerably cheaper than other places that offer the game at $24.99 and above. If you want to take part in the UK’s never-ending festival of speed (watch out for the sheep), now is your chance.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

  • Release Date: October 18th, 2019 Genre: Third-Person Shooter Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One

EA’s latest installment in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise went fairly unnoticed when it launched in October, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to jump into the spiritual successor to the Garden Warfare franchise; Best Buy is offering the game for just $19.99 on Black Friday (cheap considering the game’s age). The game is available for PS4 and Xbox One.

Walmart has a lot of deals where they come in first, or are within $1.00 of the competition. If you’re a sports fan, this is the store you’ll most likely want to shop at. If you love killing waves and waves of all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures, you’ll love playing Diablo III on the Switch. What’s more, all the DLC is included.

Game Stop

Being the only retailer on this list that specializes in video games and nerd culture we expected better deals from Game Stop. While they do have a good deal here and there, the only big game they were able to beat the other retailers on price was the latest Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare. But, like with most of the rest of their deals, that was only tied for best price with another retailer, Walmart. The biggest draw for Game Stop is that many titles, especially on Nintendo Switch, will be on sale the entire week leading up to Black Friday.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

  • Release Date: October 25th, 2019 Genre: Action, First-Person Shooter Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One
