How am I having the opposite experience already? I used my titan like 4-5 times on my first Bounty Hunt match. Plus, I honestly prefer the more controlled MOBA style of play as opposed to the original's […]

For the most part, it is fun. But that doesn’t mean we can’t call them out when they refuse to be transparent about any changes made.

I really wanna believe in No Man’s Sky, but…the evidence is clear. I’m torn.

I guess I see your point there. Though I do like the occasional distraction here and there whenever I'm playing. So, basically good open-style games are The Witcher 3, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls […]

Well, filler can be good if it's full of quality within each little quest. A lot of games are bad at that, admittedly, but some are great, like Fallout 3, Skyrim, and more recently, The Witcher 3, which […]

They become unavailable until you resubscribe. After which, they're yours to play once again. They appear in your library, you just can't play them, so you still technically “own” them.

Man, I need to get Mankind Divided soon. Unfortunately, my finances are pitiful for the next few weeks. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it soon. Human Revolution is one of my all-time favorites, and from what I’ve seen, Mankind Divided fixes a lot of what was wrong with the previous entry.

Not yet, unfortunately. Hoping to balance my finances before I even think about buying another game. That, and I'm progressing further towards my Air Force goals. Gaming might not be on my radar too much […]

Everyone has their favorite games. They can give you a million reasons why they love their games, but rarely do I hear about what people actually expect from games in general. With so many genres and play styles […]

It’s thoughts I’ve been having related to my beliefs and video games. Eventually, I’ll be talking about something more…unsettling I’ve noticed in the medium in relation to those of faith.

One thing I’ve always noticed about video games – most particularly in the Fantasy genre – is that they often use a plethora of religious imagery and mythology within their worlds. It’s not unexpected. Religio […]

Now that the year’s now about halfway through, how are everybody’s favorites lists rounding out? Granted, I’ve personally yet to play every single game that has come out, but I have played a decent number of them. Here are my picks for the top games, in order from most to least favorite.
The Elite 3:
1) Uncharted 4 – Drake’s final adventure…[Read more]

Ehh, I'm not too upset. In the grand scheme of things, it's just 10 extra bucks a year for an overall fantastic service.

I wouldn’t leave out Call of Duty. Even if you personally don’t support the series at this point, there are still people who will purchase the game regardless. Give people options no matter what, in spite of whatever opinion you may hold on a title. That’s just good business either way.

hmmm….well, let’s see what is my top anticipated games so far:
1) Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
2) The Last Guardian
3) Final Fantasy XV
4) South Park: The Fractured But Whole
5) Dishonored 2
My number 5 will likely be the most variable, but Dishonored 2 looks promising enough, since the first game was such a well-made surprise to me.

This is why Redbox rentals are a godsend for me. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XV, and South Park: The Fractured But Whole are all in my immediate line of sight. Everything else will likely be decided via rental. Watch Dogs 2 looks good already, but I’m cautious (I enjoyed the first, but it had so much wasted…[Read more]

So which gaming franchise happens to be your favorite? Also, what entry in said franchise is your favorite?
Mine is definitely From Software’s Soulsborne games (they’re all considered the same) just for being incredible examples of well-executed design for everything it does, even with the niggling issues here and there. As for favorite…[Read more]

Yeah, it spoils arguably the most important scene in the game, so read at your own risk. The MGS2 post won’t be done for a while though, as the research involved with that game is extremely dense. The BioShock Infinite one is actually a bit easier, but requires some knowledge of quantum physics (ughh). Dragon Age: Inquisition might actually turn…[Read more]
