During the Microsoft Press Conference at Gamescom, Microsoft displayed a new gameplay trailer for Quantum Break the game, as well as a very brief sneak peak at the TV show that accompanies it. Both the game and TV show will star Shawn Ashmore, Aiden Gillen, and Dominic Monaghan. The game itself looks to have benefited from the extra development time, receiving several extra coats of polish along the way. And while the gameplay does have some small resemblance to Remedy’s other big name shooter, Max Payne, the way you manipulate time is entirely unique. Although many games have tried to incorporate time travel as a core gameplay feature, Quantum Break appears to be in position to be the first to get this concept down right. As of the time of this writing, it appears that BOTH the Quantum Break game and TV show will debut on April 5th, 2016.
