Ubisoft Acquires Brawlhalla Devs Blue Mammoth

												

								
Ubisoft has acquired Blue Mammoth, the developers behind Brawlhalla. The news was broken yesterday on the Brawlhalla blog here.


The French-based company was reportedly looking for a publisher to take the game to “the next level”. The CEO of Blue Mammoth also touched on the game possibly becoming pay to win:


“One thing goes without saying, but I will say it anyway: We’ve worked very hard over the last three years to earn your trust that Brawlhalla will be always free to play and never pay to win. None of that will ever change. Ubisoft shares that philosophy, and that’s another reason we agreed to this partnership.”
