The Elder Scrolls Online has added some fun, new updates and a new DLC called Dragon Bones. The Dragon Bones DLC will feature two new dungeons: Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair. The DLC will be free to ESO Plus members and available for purchase in the Crown Store for non-ESO Plus members.  However, the updates will be free to all players no matter the membership.

I believe the updates will add some depth to the game that is very much appreciated. There will be a new Outfit System that allows you to completely customize your character no matter what gear you have equipped. Home storage will thankfully be coming as well. So, after a long day of journeying the player can drop off all the loot they acquired. Lastly, there is now a new leveling up system as well as an improved combat system. Nothing was said about the leveling up, but the new combat system will make it easier to identify and activate ability synergies.

The DLC will place the player in two different dungeons new to the landscape. Scalecaller Peak will host a burial site for a Dragon Priest where cultists plan to unleash a plague onto Tamriel. Fang Lair will feature a fight within a Dwarven Ruin to prevent necromancers from bringing back a Dragon. Two new battlegrounds have also been added to the 4v4v4 mode that sounds pretty interesting. This will be the Orc Stronghold “Mor Khazgur” and a new Dwarven ruin called “Deeping Drome” filled with the bones of shattered challenger’s dreams. These will make for some vicious arena style combat.

I can say that after some time of not playing ESO, I might dive back into this world. These updates and new missions provide some changes that many will love. Who can’t get enough of more customization options for your character? That’s what is awesome about the Elder Scrolls series and it’s great to see it added more in ESO. Check it out, everybody!
