Let the scramble begin! Nintendo has confirmed that “various retailers” will be opening up pre-orders for the lightning hot Super NES Classic later this month.

Nintendo also announced plans to supply retailers with “a significant amount of additional systems for launch day and throughout the balance of the calendar year.”

Whether or not Nintendo actually delivers on this plan is still up in the air. The company has yet to fully solve supply issues with the popular Nintendo Switch console and no one can forget the disaster that was trying to find an NES Classic last year.
