VGA 2020 Nominations Announced

2020 Has been a funny year for gaming; lots of us have been told to stay at home and that means we’ve got plenty of time to kill, so naturally more people than ever have been playing video games, whether it was veterans looking to slim that backlog or new players discovering video games for the first time.

Not to mention the fact that both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X had their respective launches during lockdown, ushering in a new era for gaming and more specifically, loading times. There has been plenty to enjoy in the world of video games in a year that has been pretty damn terrible.

Despite the lack of physical shows and E3, industry peoples like Geoff Keighley have adapted to bringing shows online while others decided to postpone/cancel their plans (and to think we could have seen Overwatch 2 this year).

The Video Game Awards (VGA as it’s more commonly abbreviated to) is opting for an online show this year, handing out awards to the best of the best and there’s a lot of best. Curious to know what games became a nominee?
