UK Video Game Charts: 6th – 10th August

It’s the end of the week which can only mean one thing; the UK Video Game Charts! The weekly series where I present the 10 hottest games in the UK. As always, the statistics are retrieved from GFK Chart-Track here. Oh, and there are five non-movers in this week’s chart which is (as far as I know) a record for the UK charts!

10. Mario Tennis Aces

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Position Last Week: No Change

A non-mover this week, Mario Tennis Aces secures its tenth place spot for a second week, warding No Man’s Sky off which sits at number 11.

9. Jurassic World: Evolution

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

Position Last Week: No Change

Another non-mover this week. Jurassic Park is a timeless classic but you would have thought life had found a way by now; apparently not, or at least not in the UK.

8. Super Mario Odyssey

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Position Last Week: 13th

Super Mario Odyssey re-enters the chart after suffering from a 5-week absence. Not that there was a shortage of Nintendo game in the charts or anything.

7. God of War

Platform: PS4

Position Last Week: 4th

God of War has been out for a few months which means in business logic it should be no longer topping the charts. Nonetheless, getting into the top 10 is still an achievement.

6. Call of Duty: WWII

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

Position Last Week: No Change

Yet another non-mover, Call of Duty slips into number 6 just in time for the Black Ops 4 multiplayer Beta.

5. Grand Theft Auto V

Platforms: PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One

Position Last Week: 7th

A timeless classic in many’s eyes, Grand Theft Auto continues to appear on this list despite being 5 years old.

4. The Crew 2

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

Position Last Week: 3rd

Zoom.

3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Platforms: Wii U, Nintendo Switch

Position Last Week: 5th

Mariooooooooooooooooooo Kart is a good game.

2. LEGO The Incredibles

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Position Last Week: No Change

Another non-mover! This could suggest it’s been a slow week in game sales.

1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Platform: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Position Last Week: No Change

Crash Bandicoot has acummalted 6 whole weeks as number one on the charts, an incredible feat.
