Microsoft has announced the price and release date for State of Decay 2 through IGN First. State of Decay 2 will have a standard edition release on May 22nd and cost a whopping $29.99 USD. No shit? Nope! A penny shy of $30 for a AAA, 4-player co-op from Undead Labs and Microsoft.
If you’re so damn excited that you must play the game early there will be an Ultimate Edition for $49.99 available 4 days early on May 18th. The State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition includes a copy of State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition and the Independence Pack and Daybreak Pack DLC.

Of course, if you’re such a cheap bastard that $29.99 is still too much the game will also be on the Xbox Game Pass on day one, that’ll only cost you $10 for an entire month of gameplay.
