It’s been a busy week for Microsoft so far. First they launched the new ‘Fluent’ dashboard for preview Alpha members yesterday. Then added four more backward compatible titles for Xbox One today, including Batman: Arkham Origins. After users on Reddit had spotted Major Nelson testing the new app out on his Xbox the cat was out of the bag.
All we needed was the confirmation. Early this morning Spotify put the official page online, as noted by Xbox Corporate Vice President Mike Ybarra on Twitter a few hours later. But we still didn’t have a date. Everyone was asking, no one was answering. That is until the Head of Xbox Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg confirmed the release for today on his Twitter account.
In a move that took way too long, Spotify will finally be available on Xbox One and it’s coming today!
