Facepunch has revealed that their popular early access survival game Rust is about to leave early access after four years in the alpha phase. The announcement comes in the form of a blog post from CEO of Facepunch Garry Newman. The post goes over the details and what leaving early access means.
The most notable change will be the price which will see an increase from $19.99 to $34.99. Newman stresses this is not the end however as he promised there will be more updates to follow after 1.0 although updates will now be monthly instead of weekly. Rust will be heading for a full release on the 8th February.
