Rockstar gave us some bad news today, Rockstar announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be delayed until Spring 2018. Rockstar said “we are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready” on their website earlier today. The game was scheduled for release this fall.
Although not the first game Rockstar has released this generation, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the first game Rockstar has built from the ground up for the current generation Playstation and Xbox machines. As part of an apology for the delaying the title, Rockstar has released a handful of screenshots which can be viewed on our game page. Although no other new details were provided today, Rockstar stated that they are “really excited” to show “more details about the game this summer.”
