Sea of Thieves appears to be progressing well for Rareware and Microsoft. Rare has announced that they are accepting applications from Xbox One and Windows 10 PC owners to join the Sea of Thieves Insider Programme. As part of the ‘programme’, “members will have access to a number of perks and bonuses,” such as “regular communication about the development of Sea of Thieves,” and how your feedback is shaping the title.
Members of the Insider Programme will also be designated with a unique badge in the official forum and provide access to a private Insider section of the forum. Insiders will also be sent surveys and questionnaires relating to Sea of Thieves, giving them the opportunity to provide input on specific areas of gameplay and design for the development team.
The biggest benefit is that Rare will be “selecting members of the Insider Programme in the future for early testing phases for Sea of Thieves.” To learn more about the programme, watch the video below.
