If you purchase the game on Xbox One*, you’ll receive Alan Wake, both Alan Wake DLCs, and the Windows 10 version of Quantum Break, all free.
Remedy has revealed that their new Xbox One game Quantum Break will also be arriving on Windows 10 PCs day and date with the Xbox One version. In addition, if you pre-order the digital Xbox One version through the Xbox Store, from participating retailers,or buy the special edition, “you will receive a system message over Xbox Live that includes a 5×5 redemption code for the Windows 10 version of the game. Codes will be issued shortly after launch.”
If you purchase the physical game disc version of Quantum Break, you will not get the Windows 10 version free, but will receive a copy of Alan Wake plus both The Signal and The Writer DLCs. Additionally save files can be shared between the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of the game, however “there is no cross-play functionality as “Quantum Break” is a single player action-adventure experience.
A new Xbox One Quantum Break Console Bundle has also been announced, featuring a 500GB Cirrus White Xbox One console, Lunar White Xbox One controller, a digital download for Quantum Break, and the Alan Wake Backwards Compatible game. If you’re looking to get your Alan Wake fix, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare was also added to Microsofts Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program today.
