Pokemon Quest Announced for Switch

Nintendo has unveiled the first Pokemon game to hit the Switch, titled ‘Pokemon Quest’.

The official store page describes the game:

“Set off for adventure in the Pokémon™ Quest game. Venture out with your Pokémon buddies on expeditions across Tumblecube Island in search of loot in this free-to-start action-adventure for the Nintendo Switch™ system. Modify your Pokémon buddies with discovered Power Stones to make your ultimate expedition team.”

Pokemon Quest is the first of four new games coming to the switch, two of which have been revealed as Pokemon Let’s Go Evee and Pokemon Let’s go Pikachu. Both are slated for a 2018 release date while the two others are expected to be the ‘core’ games which are shaping up to have a 2019 release date.

This new take on Pokemon is also coming to iOS and Android in late June but right now you can download it on the Switch store at no cost although the following purchases are available:

Nintendo offers Whack-Whack, Wait Less, Broadburst, Scattershot, Sharing and Stay Strong stones at the price of $2.99 each. All packs come with 100 pm tickets.
