PixARK, ARK Survival Evolved’s pixelated conterpart has been given a full release date just over a year after being available on Steam’s early access program.
The game is due to hit physical (and digital) shelves on May 31st for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for just $24.99. PixARK has had a rocky reception of Steam, garnering a mixed rating overall with the biggest jibe being issues with unbalancing in the game’s mechanics, with some players reporting to be struggling to take on in-game enemies. Despite this, developers are including balance fixes in recent updates.
PixARK for the uninitiated is effectively a 32-bit style ARK Survival Evolved. Why? Well nobody really knows but it was an idea and aforementioned above, it’s working out reasonably well. Let’s just hope those bugs are squashed before release next month.
