In a move that reminded me of the E3 press conferences of yesteryear, Microsoft dropped a bombshell at the end of their press conference during Gamescom today in the form of Halo Wars 2. Although no actual gameplay was featured, fans of the original Halo Wars are undoubtedly excited beyond belief, and that excitement will explode all over their faces in fall 2016 on both Windows 10 and Xbox One. No mention of cross platform support at the time, though I think it is safe to assume that will be the case.
