Welcome back to Level Select, the weekly article that delivers reviewed levels from Super Mario Maker 2. Let’s get start then, shall we?
Lemmy’s Airship is a nice level to get started with.
If you’re new to the game and wondering how boss battle works, this level can show you via a (mostly) harmless boss and a constant supply of mushrooms. The level also doubles up as a speedrun course if you want to go for the world record.

This level is going to test your reflexes, jumping skills and festive spirit.
The icy cavern is going to test your patience, especially with the amount of festive Pokeys poking (get it?) about. The level is harder than most, so be prepared to die a few times to learn the layout of the level.

The Beginning is reminiscent of your typical 2D Mario game level.
The level is mostly comprised of making it past Goombas and Koopas before descending onto a green pipe. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up falling straight out of the world but if you follow the coin trail, you’ll be just fine. The only issue is that the coin drop was the level’s only significant feature and the rest of the level is a cakewalk.

I chose Koopa Cave based on its name.
This seems like a bad idea, but I actually really enjoyed the level; the puzzle of finding the Koopas wasn’t too difficult and it was fun to play as fire Mario for a while. Despite the level being fun, I feel the creator could have hid the Koopas better and extended the level.

Are you going to play any of these courses this weekend? Let us know in the comments.
