EA is bringing a new operation to Battlefield 1. Fire and Ice combines the freezing temperatures of Galicia and Brusilov Keep with the scorching hell of Verdun Heights and Fort De Vaux. At the end of each operation your score will be applied towards unlocking an Operations Battlepack. These can contain a puzzle piece for unique melee weapons as well as Distinguished and Legendary weapon and vehicle skins. This will be on top of the upcoming Heligoland Bight and Zeebrugge maps for the Turning Tides DLC. I know many of us are waiting for some real sea action, and we’re gonna get it sometime soon!
This is definitely a nice change of pace to the game as it takes you from one extreme to the other. I know I am damn sure going to be playing this operation and fuck it up on these awesome maps! The amount of content that EA is putting out right now is welcomed by the gaming community, the more the merrier!
Fire and Ice will be live through January 22nd.
