Hours of Darkness brings us to the Vietnam War through the memories of Hope County’s Wendell “Red” Redler. It’ll be available on June 5th using your Season Pass or Gold Edition. If you don’t have those, it can be purchased for $11.99. The mission will be to rescue his friends that have been captured and reach extraction. New weapons will come to you in the form of the Vietnam M-16, SVD Sniper Rifle, and M60 Machine Gun that you can bring back to Hope County. Extras include bombing airstrikes and a new Survival Instinct ability that lets you have up to four temporary perks the more you work on your ninja kills.
After all of this, you’ll be granted access to two more modes. The first one, Survival Mode, will strip you of all weapons and charge up the battles for more realistic action. The second one, Action Movie Mode will actually give you more weapon slots and boosts the airstrikes. Any players who don’t have this DLC are already given access to the Vietnam-themed assets. All-in-all, this looks like it’ll be a pretty fun experience!
