Divinity: Original Sin 2 heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Earlier today Larian Studios announced via the Xbox and PlayStation blogs that their critically acclaimed RPG will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 after spending 6 months on PC.

The devs claim that they’ve been “swarmed with daily letters and messages from players asking us to bring the game to Xbox One” also stating the same for PlayStation 4.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the sequel to Divinity Original Sin. The second outing sees you (and up to 3 friends) scramble for the chance to claim power after the divine has passed away. Explore a living world full to the brim of things to do and master the turn based combat with over 200 skills at your disposal. Oh, and you can do this all in 4k.

“Though DOS 2 enjoyed critical acclaim at launch (it finished 2017 as Metacritic’s highest scoring PC game), we knew there was still plenty of room for improvement and features that would bring it to the next level. That’s why we are going to be working with you to improve the game as much as possible” Michael Douse, director of publishing at Larian Sutdios said in the post.

Divinity Original Sin 2 will be out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in August 2018.
