THQ Nordic (publishing right owners of the de Blob franchise following the 2013 auction fiasco) has announced Comrade Black is back to strip Prisma City of its colors. Luckily, there’s a de Blob that stands up to him by starting a prismatic revolution. de Blob 2 was released in 2011 to generally favorable reviews; critics praised it for its ability to amalgamate platforming and painting. Today, THQ Nordic is looking to deliver that experience on the Nintendo Switch after announcing on the 28th August de Blob 2 remastered will be splashing onto our Switch screens.
The rejuvenation is fronted by Blitworks, a company best known for the brains behind porting Don’t Starve, Spelunky, Jet Set Radio, Sonic CD, FEZ and Bastion to console and mobile devices; in other words, the remaster is in good hands. Aforementioned above, de Blob 2 is slated for the 28th August release date with a price of $29.99
