Folks, not to make a pun out of a DONTNOD game, but. . . “Life Is Strange.”
Haha. Anyways, it has come to my attention that the next game in FRENCH BREAD’s fighting game series, with assistance from Arc System Works – that being Under Night In-Birth: Late[cl-r] – has been potentially leaked and seems to be coming to the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. It’s interesting, isn’t it?
Unlike some people who already seem to hate the logo for some dumb reason, I like the logo. The blue and white and red and dark-blue colors contrast the dark background. The text below the logo is intriguing as well.
It reads as follows: “Last night, at the dawn. A young man shows up. Hell fire burns down the surroundings. The ice coffin quietly lies. So the time comes. Here, ring the bell of the dawn. The dark night will soon be over. . .”
That is one of the best set-ups for a video game story I’ve read.
It’s so mysterious, and yet, it provides enough information where you want to play it yourself to understand the full scope. I really like that. Hopefully, an announcement confirming this one way or the other will be made relatively soon. Maybe at this year’s EVO event or E3 even?
Either way, once an announcement regarding the title’s existence and platforms is made, I’ll be sure to provide a seperate article updating accordingly if the update, announcement and info are all big enough. For now, this link leading to the taiwanese digital game rating page detailing the game’s rating is the only info I have to go on.
. . . Ok, fine, I found another image to utilize.
For those of you who most likely never heard of this series prior to its’ inclusion in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Under NIght In-Birth is a series of fighting games developed by Ecole Software, French Bread, and published by Arc System Works. Some of its’ characters, like Hyde, have appeared in Blazblue Cross Tag Battle in 2018. With that, I have to ask: What do you think of the potential ability to play this fighting game series on the go? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
