The night was clearly Nintendo’s night to shine. President of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aimé joined Geoff Keighley on stage for what appeared to be the reveal of a port for Bayonetta 2 with the original Bayonetta included. As Geoff started to move on to the next segment Reggie stopped him and said “you thought I came all the way up here for only one announcement?” And with a snap of his fingers another trailer started revealing a new entry into the series, Bayonetta 3.
Bayonetta 1 + 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch February 16, 2018 while Bayonetta 3 will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. A release window was not provided for Bayonetta 3.
