This sci-fi adventure-survival game is as ambitious as video games get. Players start in the middle of a procedurally generated universe and are allowed to roam free. The virtual universe of No Man’s Sky is, theoretically, as large as the actual universe. Players can explore and name planets, animals, moons, and anything else at will. As you survive and learn more about your surroundings, you can submit discoveries to the universal Atlas and receive currency in exchange. More currency allows you to purchase better ships and explore more. Other players can visit “your” worlds, and you can visit theirs too. But be careful – many planets are hostile, and the mysterious Sentinels are always monitoring planets to make sure you don’t overstep your boundaries.
