Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed is a satirical, supernatural, open-world action-RPG set in virtual Akihabara. Things aren’t all gadgets and cosplay in Tokyo’s most geeky part of town, though. Vampires called “Synthisters” are on the prowl, and it’s up to you to identify them, battle them…and take their clothes off. Far from a gratuitous excuse to show virtual skin, the clothes removal is strictly necessary: you need to expose the vampires’ skin to sunlight, right? It has a unique combat system in which everyday objects become weapons, and multiple storylines for you to enjoy. The colorful characters are based on anime and video-game archetypes and the story is heavy on social satire and J-Pop. Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed has something for everyone!
