Capcom's classic zombie playground comes to next-gen

														
Capcom released a statement today confirming the release of the original Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.


This is the first time the original Dead Rising will be playable on a platform besides the Xbox 360 (minus the strange Wii port Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop). Also worth noting, only Dead Rising was explicitly stated to release on PC, whereas both Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record are available now.


It’s unclear how much work is being done to these titles, although a complete remaster is unlikely due to the fact that only Dead Rising was announced as coming to PC, and the other two games would already be playable.


No release date was given, although Capcom told Gamespot they will share more details soon.
